Clemson Extension Workshops: The Basics of Canning Fruits and Vegetables


Clemson Extension is offering workshops on the basics of canning from local farms and home gardens.
Courses are taught by Clemson University Extension agents at locations around the state.



Greenville: County Extension Office
1 PM to 5 PM
Saturday, June 11th - Boiling water bath canning
Saturday, June 25th - Pressure Canning
Saturday, July 9th - Jams & Jellies
Saturday, July 30th - Pickles


. All classes are available for on-line registration in the PSA store click here
On-line class registratin is required.
Enrollment in the Clemson and Greenville classes is limited to the first 15 people who register for each class.

The MGAP Plant Swap for 2011


MGAP members brought surplus plants for adoption and took home new plants for the garden.
at the Swap held on April 30th.

Graduation Ceremony For the 2011 MGAP Class


The 2011 Master Gardeners Class Graduation was held on the SCC Campus on Sunday,
March 27, 2011. The ceremony included special awards to two graduates receivng 100% on the final exam. After the formal ceremony, members took the opportunity to share snacks and meet the new graduates.
