In July the irrigation pond softened the impact of the hot, parched June weather



The irrigation pond has slowly recovered from the three year drought


June 2008: The pond disappeared in
the 2005-2009 drought disaster

June 2010: The pond is once again the lifeline for the garden in spite of the lack of rain

plant yield continues because of irrigation
